Its called Greenback Search (http://www.greenbacksearch.com/). They are also powered by Google so search results are the same but as an added way to help the environment they purchase carbon offsets on behalf of users when searches earn revenue. I think that this would be a better option than Blackle. Greenback search has other cool features on their site as well.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18042873948431308478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28021883.post-24662292715809089992007-07-27T14:53:00.000-07:002007-07-27T14:53:00.000-07:00You might want to note that blackle is just the ho...You might want to note that blackle is just the homepage of www.searchincolor.com, which has offered web search in different colors since a much longer time. In general, all dark backgrounds on light text are energy saving-less illumination of the CRT-less pixel activation.

My favorite on searchincolor.com is the white background with green links-although not energy saving-it is really better for the eyes.

SanjaySanjay John Gandhihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14830474058238466179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28021883.post-59386435426201409322007-07-13T07:40:00.000-07:002007-07-13T07:40:00.000-07:00This is a great idea.
